DIRECTOR OF THE MUSIC MINISTRY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF THE ROSES The Church of the Roses is known for: Reaching Out with Nurturing Love to All! PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the congregation (in close coordination with the Pastor) in bringing glory to God through a high quality, lively, and engaging worship music program: • Serve as the music leader for the 10 am Sunday worship services (and extra ser-vices on the church calendar during Lent, Easter, and Advent). • Work with staff and the worship committee to develop a worship planning calen-dar according to church seasons. • Support the Worship committee’s work by communicating with the Pastor and committee members as needed. Expected work hours at least 15 hours per week including practice at home, Wednesday staff meeting, Thursday night rehearsals, Worship committee attendance (by zoom), Sunday worship and occasional special services.
