Church Accompanist/ Musician

Church Accompanist Central United Methodist Church, Mooresville NC This is a part-time position. Collaborate with the Director of Traditional Music and Director of Modern Music to lead the congregation into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through participation in worship music. Essential Qualifications • An active, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for worship music • Commitment to the mission of the Church: To create an inclusive community that leads people to know Jesus through listening, compassion, and service. • Competency in both piano and keyboard • Ability to play organ ideal but not required (Organ is a two manual full pipe organ) • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively and accept input from others • Some formal education in music preferred
