Church Keyboardist

The Keyboardist is a committed Christian who provides piano and/or organ music/accompaniment for scheduled worship services and other activities in support of the music ministry of the church, including funerals and weddings. · Work corporately with the Music Director; as a part of the musical leadership team of the church, the Keyboardist is expected to advocate for music programs · Arrange for organ and piano maintenance with a qualified organ and piano repair person as needed and notify the Director of Music Ministries · Experience in church worship, with both organ and other music and hymnody (understanding and familiarity with blended worship services) preferred · Ability to communicate well and in a friendly manner with church leadership, church choir, and congregants
