Discover Church is seeking a skilled and dependable keyboardist to join our worship team. We are looking for someone who has experience playing contemporary gospel, praise & worship, and modern Christian music and can help create a strong worship atmosphere each Sunday.

Responsibilities

Play keyboard during Sunday worship servicesAttend and participate in Sunday sound check/rehearsalWork closely with the Worship Leader, singers, musicians, and pastoral leadershipLearn and prepare assigned worship songs before serviceFollow musical direction and transitions during worshipPlay contemporary gospel, traditional gospel, praise & worship, and contemporary Christian musicBe dependable, punctual, professional, and preparedQualifications

Strong keyboard/piano skillsExperience playing in a church or gospel worship setting preferredAbility to play by ear and follow chord chartsFamiliarity with gospel progressions, worship transitions, modulations, and spontaneous worshipAbility to work well with a worship teamReliable transportationConsistent Sunday availabilityPositive attitude and professional demeanorSchedule

Sundays

Sound Check: approximately 9:00 AMWorship Service: 10:00 AM–11:30 AMAdditional rehearsals or special services may occasionally be scheduled in advance.
