Church Music Director

Overview At Grace Ann Arbor North, we are seeking a skilled Church Music Director to lead our Worship and Discipleship Ministries. This individual will create engaging worship experiences for church services, while discipling people by assimilating them into the church. Key Responsibilities • Participate as primary Worship Leader in church services • Work with the Location Pastor to plan worship services, including song selection and arrangement, slides, lighting, set design, and volunteer scheduling • Lead weekly rehearsals to prepare worship team for Sunday morning services • Mentor and develop other leaders, musicians, and production team volunteers • Recruit, audition, onboard, and equip new volunteers to build a strong worship team Requirements • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ evidenced in attitude and behavior • Passionate and contagious worshiper who practices spiritual disciplines • Commitment to our essential beliefs and core values • Reliable self-starter with organizational skills and follow-through • Humble spirit that is not easily offended, but handles conflict with understanding • Promptness, professionalism, and written/verbal communication skills
