As in most churches, music is central to worship in Baptist churches. To fulfill musician duties, must display both musical ability and respect for the sacred nature of faith-based music. - Experience with hammond organ and/or keyboard - Perform for worship services in the church, including functions i.e anniversaries, engagements, weddings and funerals - Lead worship service, offer inspiration and share principles of the Baptist faith. - Plan musical selections and spend considerable time practicing, rehearsing and preparing choir for worship and various other services.
