Primary Responsibilities: The Church pianist’s main responsibilities are to provide piano accompaniment for scheduled worship services and other activities/ worship opportunities that supplement the Church’s music ministry. Wednesday Choir Practice (6 pm - 7 pm)Sunday worship (8-12 songs per worship) - Holiday/ special worship services (e.g. Christmas/ New Year’s Eve, Good Friday, etc. Provide high and consistent quality of piano/ organ accompaniment every Sunday at required timesPlan, select, and prepare special arrangements or offerings when required - according to Pastor’s directions/ needs of the worship servicesSupport additional music ministry (e.g. church choir)Maintain an accurate account of piano/ organ needs and maintenance to Pastor/ church staffPianist is responsible for communicating planned absences (preferably as soon as known) to allow for scheduling of a substitute pianistOther Duties: Participate in monthly related church, Worship and staff meetings Working Conditions/Hours:
