Church Musician

The ideal candidate will be proficient in both keyboard and Hammond organ and possess a passion for leading God's people in worship through music. This individual will work closely with the Minister of Music to support and enhance the worship life of the congregation through traditional hymns, gospel music, and contemporary praise and worship music. The successful candidate will demonstrate musical excellence, a heart for ministry, and a commitment to helping cultivate a vibrant worship culture that encourages congregational participation and spiritual growth. Provide musical accompaniment on keyboard and Hammond organ for Sunday worship services, special services, and church events.Play a broad range of musical styles, including traditional hymns, gospel music, and contemporary praise and worship songs.Assist in leading congregational singing and worship.Serve as a vocalist when appropriate and support worship leadership through singing.Work with the Minister of Music to create worship experiences that are engaging, spiritually enriching, and Christ-centered.Ministry Collaboration Have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.Demonstrate a love for the Lord and for God's people.Sense a genuine call to music ministry.Support the mission, vision, and values of Flatlands Reformed Church.Be willing to become an active participant in the life and ministry of the congregation and a valued member of the FRC family of faith.
