Education and Experience Requirement: • A minimum of two-years of experience playing keyboard/piano and/or guitar accompaniment for a Chapel or church setting. • Shall have experience accompanying/leading vocalists and/or congregation in Chapel setting utilizing wide range of traditional, contemporary, and gospel Christian music for all Protestant music groups and events as well as assisting with ecumenical events. • Shall have experience utilizing innovative approaches to effectively play music in a way that enhances the spiritual value of Protestant worship services and encourages congregational members to participate in musical worship. • Participate in weekly rehearsals for vocalists to last no less than 30 minutes, not including the time required to set-up and tear down. • Assist the Protestant Chaplain in planning and coordinating music for worship services in consultation with the assigned service Chaplain.
