Church Musician

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in music theory, experience leading CONTEMPORARY worship music with a heart for ministry. -Key Responsibilities: • Selecting and arranging music for weekly worship services • Leading rehearsals for the worship team and choir • Recruiting and training musicians and vocalists • Collaborating with the pastor to plan and coordinate worship services • Overseeing sound and technical aspects of the music ministry • Developing and implementing a music program that promotes spiritual growth and engagement • Leading music during services and special events • Building relationships with church members and fostering a sense of community within the music ministry • Providing pastoral care and support to members of the music ministry ```Qualifications``` • College degree in music or a related field (preferred) • Experience leading worship music in a church setting • Strong vocal and instrumental skills • Knowledge of music theory and arrangement • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team • Strong organizational and communication skills Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Commission Supplemental pay types: • Commission pay
