Church Musician Organist/Keyboardist

This position is in Madison, WI at Capital City Sanctuary.

The Church Musician(Keyboardist, Organist) will be a committed individual who provides music for scheduled worship services and other activities in support of the music ministry of the church.

Having a pivotal role in the musical life of the church, this individual is a strong team player, being a full partner with the ministerial staff and the church’s music director.

Job Description

This year-round position is defined as restricted part time. Expectation of attendance is for Sunday worship services, rehearsals with the Choir, praise annd worship team and other special services.

Job Requirements

1. Committed to growing

2. Experience in church songs and music.(understanding and familiarity with blended worship expected)

3. Flexibility to play in blended style worship services (incorporating both traditional gospel and contemporary worship music)

4. Willingness to rehearse sufficiently to maintain a high quality of music

5. Ability to take direction and work as a team member

6. Great communication

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
