Job Description/Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and play organ/piano music appropriate to each service of worship, i.e., prelude, interlude, offertory, responses and postlude. Accompany the choir or soloists/special musicians, typically on the piano, and the congregation's singing of hymns and service music on the organ.Rehearse sufficiently for optimum performance.Play at regular and special services: Sundays (10:30AM. Play appropriate music for weddings and funerals if asked and available. Through the Pastor and Music Director, arrange for a substitute when unable to be present.
