The Juilliard School in New York is seeking applicants for a violin faculty position in the College Division, with potential involvement in the Pre-College Division. Responsibilities: • Teaching weekly applied lessons • Conducting studio classes • Coaching chamber music • Recruiting • Attending auditions, juries, departmental meetings, and student recitals Applicants should have significant experience as a performer, including soloist, recitalist, or chamber musician, and a proven track record of preparing young violinists for a professional music career. A forward-looking and inclusive approach to artistry and professionalism is required. Payment: $250–$300 per hour for studio lessons, with faculty teaching 10 hours per week or more being eligible for full-time benefits.
