Bay Chamber is seeking candidates for a 32-hour per week Communications Coordinator who will support the work of the Bay Chamber team - with a focus on marketing, development and office management. Development • See that gifts are processed correctly and ensure that thank you letters are sent promptly • Collaborate with Director on design of appeal, newsletters and other development materials • Work with Director to ensure seasonal mailings go out promptly by coordinating staff and volunteers to help • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns as required, including annual business sponsorship appeal Ticketing/Concerts • Processes ticket sales orders in person and over the phone • Manage ticketing box office at public events as required • Manage ticketing set-up and reporting in Tessitura as required • Format and print concert programs • Assist at concerts, as required and attend to artist hospitality requests The desired combination of education and relevant experience for this position includes a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience - however, candidates with any combination of experience and education likely to provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be successful in the position will be considered. Weekend and evening work will be required periodically for concerts or other special events.
