Congo Square Production Assistant

$16.00 per hour TIME FRAME: This is a short term, seasonal position. POSITION SUMMARY : Provide assistance to Congo Square Coordinator with load-in and set-up of artists / vendors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Pre-fest: Compare vendor list with existing signs, note booth number changes, drill holes in new signs, hang with 4-5 zip ties each (full day task) Guide vendors to locations, bring in fruit order from Horsemen's (refrigerate grapes/berries), receive Sam's Club order Prewash all dishes and coffee supplies at Horsemen's Cafeteria sinks (use vinegar, baking soda, dish soap - treat staff with courtesy) Festival Days Prepare coffee/tea, cut and arrange fruit trays, and set up breakfast items at the info booth before gates open. Ensure volunteers are signed out, monitor vendor restroom access, and secure equipment as needed. Endurance for long hours in an active, stressful production setting with the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
