Contemporary Music Leader

Job Summary: We seek a dynamic and passionate Contemporary Worship Music Leader to lead our congregation during worship services and other areas as needed. Knowledge/Experience in leading contemporary worship independentlyProficiency in either guitar or piano (guitar preferred)Desire to build a worship team and work with vocalists and musicians of varying skill levelsStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well with the pastor, church staff, volunteers, and musicians. Recruit, train and lead instrumentalists and vocalists for contemporary music elements of worship services.Lead/oversee rehearsals for instrumentalists and vocalists for contemporary music elements of worship services.Plan weekly rehearsals and service worship orders in collaboration with the pastor and Prince of Peace staff.Select and arrange worship songs that align with the message of the service, the church calendar, and the overall vision of the churchCollaborate with the Pastor and other ministry leaders to plan and execute worship services that support the church’s mission.
