Contemporary Musician (Casual, Part-time)

The Contemporary Music Staff brings their instrumental or vocal gifts, abilities and skills to create a worship environment that glorifies God and builds up the Church. Model worship for the Contemporary team and congregation through attitude and actions.Come musically and spiritually prepared to rehearsal and worship. Demonstrate and model Christ Church’s core values in daily work, relationships and service to others. ).Regularly attends worship and participates in ministry events at Christ Church or a Christ Church campus unless exempted by Christ Church leadership. Musical Proficiency – Strong vocal and/or instrumental skill, solid sense of rhythm and pitch, and the ability to learn and execute music accurately across contemporary worship styles.Team Collaboration – Ability to work well under leadership, follow direction, communicate clearly, and function cohesively within a worship band and production environment.Congregational Leadership – Skill in engaging and guiding the congregation through confident presence, expressive worship, and appropriate use of dynamics and cues.Spiritual Maturity and Reliability – Demonstrates a growing faith, servant-hearted attitude, consistency in preparation and punctuality, and alignment with the church’s mission and values.Communicates with clarity and warmth across diverse audiencesDemonstrates integrity, humility, and alignment with Christ Church’s valuesCollaborates effectively across teams and ministriesOrganizes and prioritizes work to meet goals with excellenceLearns quickly and adapts to new tools, systems, and challengesCoaches and develops others, bringing out the best in peopleResolves conflicts constructively and maintains healthy relationshipsInnovates and improves ministry systems to better serve people
