Contemporary Worship Leader

• The director will seek to implement and be responsive to the Senior Pastor’s leadership and vision for worship. • Prepare technological elements of contemporary worship services: PowerPoint announcements, special videos, song lyrics, etc. This may also include microphone placement and signal routing, mixing console preparation, audio effects editing, and lighting console operation. • The director will select and purchase musical instruments, accessories, and music, as they are consistent with the church’s vision for contemporary worship. • Under the leadership of the Senior Pastor, the director has discretion in managing the Praise Band, removing or replacing any participant related to contemporary ministries if he or she feels that maintaining the person in question is in any way jeopardizing the quality of the spiritual health of the contemporary team or the director.
