Young Musicians Unite is seeking a full-time Finance Coordinator to assist our Chief Financial Officer with day-to-day accounting and financial functions for our non-profit organization. Responsibilities include managing general ledger accounts, recording and posting transactions... producing financial reports for monthly review with the CFO, processing teacher payments, creating invoices for events, and following up on collections. This is an in-person position, Monday through Friday. • Payroll/Independent Contractors • Individual Donations - process all donations • Annual Gala/Corporate Sponsors and Ticket Sales • Processing Checks for all Departments • Grant Reporting and invoicing • Invoicing and collection for the Shows Department • American Express Reconciliation • Monthly Bank reconciliations with CFO • Monthly Financial Reporting • Tax and Audit prep assistance • Year End 1099/w2 Filings • Weekly Meetings with each department By giving students a voice through music, Young Musicians Unite plants the seeds for youth to step into their true potential, both on and off the stage, and become the responsible, committed citizens our country needs in the future.
