The Cleveland Orchestra is seeking a Coordinator, School Programs responsible for the planning and coordination of The Cleveland Orchestra’s learning programs and resources for schools. The role includes coordinating in-school and after-school string programs in Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) partner schools such as Crescendo and Music Mentors; related administrative, data and impact support; concert and event support; collaborating on the development of curriculum resources for teachers and students. Plan and facilitate Early Childhood in-school Music Explorers programs (Pre-K) in select CMSD pre-school classrooms.Coordinate logistics for in-school and after-school string programs, i.e., Crescendo (grades 3 – 8) and Music Mentors (grades 9 – 12) in three CMSD partner schools including Cleveland School of the Arts (CSA).Assist with recruiting, training, and supervising a team of String Teaching Artists, CSA High School student Practice Assistants, and TCO Musicians who work with students in a variety of private and group classes, adhering to best practices in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and music education pedagogy.Assist with professional development teacher workshops in CMSD and community partner sites as needed.Collaborate with school and community partners such as Tri-C Creative Arts Academy to coordinate student performance logistics including securing venues, crafting parent communications, and creating promotional materials to heighten visibility.Coordinate TCO musician participation at colleges and universities 2-3 times/year (e.g., masterclasses, coachings)Support Director and EdCE Team as requested at Severance for concerts and events, e.g., during school fieldtrip Education Concert weeks and Music Explorer performances. Coordinate schedules, contracts and payroll memos for all learning program personnel including Teaching Artists, TCO Musicians, and Student Practice Assistants.Maintain detailed budgets and expense tracking and, with Director, prepare quarterly forecastsCoordinate in-school learning program data to contribute to annual impact reports and provide program impact narrativesSuggest storytelling content that highlights students, families, and teachers in our learning programs to be used in donor publications, campaigns, and conversations.Support Education Concerts and Special Events as needed (e.g., Education Concerts, Music Explorers, Sensory Friendly concerts) Cleveland, OH $50,000.00-$55,000.00 2 days ago
