Cross of Christ seeks Praise Band Leader Cross of Christ is looking for a Praise Band Leader. The Praise Band Leader will have the responsibility to manage and oversee the Praise Band and the modern worship music at Cross of Christ. This is a part time positions: Up to 10 hours a week on average Pay Range is $21-$24/ hour Cross of Christ currently has three separate music positions open (Director of Music Ministry, Praise Band Leader, and Accompanist/Organist). Worship Planning Responsibilities: Support a music ministry that is spiritually impactful to all members and guests Participate in the planning of worship and other musical activities in the congregation Participate in weekly worship planning meetings with pastoral staff and Director of Music Ministry Participate in staff meetings when necessary Communicate the worship plan with the accompanist, A/V ministers, and the church office in a timely manner Praise Band (Proclaim) duties and responsibilities: Participate as a lead member in the band Select and conduct worship music for the band with weekly rehearsals Prepare and schedule the band to sing most Sundays throughout the year.
