Piano Accompaniment for Dance Classes The successful candidate will have experience playing for ballet technique/pointe classes and be able to provide inspirational accompaniment for dance classes. Ability to work with others, be flexible, and creative is essential. • Advanced level piano skills and proficiency in performing a wide range of repertoire required for ballet class • Previous experience playing for ballet technique/pointe classes is recommended • Ability to work with teachers in a wide variety of styles and rhythms • Experience in providing and maintaining a professional atmosphere within the classroom • Knowledge of ballet terms/repertoire and ability to improvise is preferred • Willingness to work with others, be flexible, and creative
