Dance Instructor/Choreographer Part-time ACADEMY OF MUSIC IN GRAND RAPIDS

West Michigan's largest music school, the Academy of Music in Grand Rapids, is expanding to include dance classes and musical theatre, and needs a part-time dance teacher (and substitute teacher) for young children. WEEKLY LESSON PLANS PROVIDED for pre-ballet, including music selections and class games and activities for the Around The World Fairytale Princess Ballet curriculum. Job Requirements: • Teaching experience with BEGINNER BALLET to young children, ages 3-6 in group settings. • Teaching experience with MUSICAL THEATRE CHOREOGRAPHY for students ages 7 & up. Personal skills: • Dependability • Professionalism • Enthusiasm for dance • Punctuality • Friendliness • Love of working with young children ages 3-6 • Ability to inspire students and encourage student participation • Strong, effective communication skills with students and parents
