The Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts (VCUarts) is seeking applicants for Musicians (piano and percussion accompaniment) for the Dept. of Dance + Choreography. In this role, musicians will provide support for both major and non-major modern and ballet dance classes. • Work with Dance + Choreography Instructors to select appropriate musical accompaniment, and provide adaptations to align with specific exercises and / or techniques • Accompany modern dance and/or ballet classes with appropriate musical and stylistic considerations • Anticipated Weekly Hours: 6-12 • Perform other related duties as assigned.
