The Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts (VCUarts) is seeking applicants for Musicians (piano and percussion accompaniment) for the Dept. • One (1) year of experience playing for dance classes at the collegiate, professional, or pre-professional level; or equivalent in related training, education, and/or experience. • Ability to sight-read provided music and improvise in various styles as needed. • Prepare multiple genres of music (e.g., classical, pop, musical theatre, opera, or others) which can be adapted for the ballet and/or modern dance class.
