Director, Jazz Band

The Office of Arts and Innovation is seeking a part-time, casual Director, Jazz Band to direct and conduct the JHU Jazz Band on the Homewood campus, for 6-10 hours per week between mid-August through mid-May. The Jazz Band Director provides musical leadership for the ensemble and collaborates with student leadership on the selection of music, rehearsal schedule, and content, and conducts the Jazz Band at all rehearsals and concerts. This position reports to the Director of the Office of Arts and Innovation. • An advanced degree in music and experience with marketing and fundraising are preferred. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Music required.
