Director of Bands

The successful candidate will serve as Director of Bands. This role requires a forward-thinking musician and dedicated educator with a comprehensive approach to instrumental music who possesses a minimum of a Masters Degree in Wind Conducting, Music Education, or a related field. The successful candidate will engage in student recruitment, foster a positive and inclusive environment, and demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching, especially traditionally underrepresented and first-generation students. • Significant experience directing ensembles including concert bands, jazz ensembles, and athletic bands. • Experience teaching music theory.
