Director of Bands and Auxiliary Groups

Demonstrate proactive collaboration with other auxiliary groups and related programs-including choral ensembles, pianists, Dance Team, Cheer, and athletics-by supporting joint events and initiatives, fostering alignment, mutual support, and a unified student experience. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, responsibilities, and program needs, adapting to changing priorities, events, and institutional demands to support the success of the band program and related activities. Organize and oversee all aspects of the Band of Gold (BOG) program, including student advisement, auditions, band camp, scholarships, inventory, budgets, performance planning, and student records-while ensuring accurate and comprehensive maintenance of all related files and documentation. Carry primary instructional responsibility for the Band of Gold program, including rehearsal planning and execution, scholarship processing, and attendance reporting. Coordinate student use of Learning Resource Center services as needed.
