Director of Marching Bands and Music Education

Job Title: Assistant Director of Marching Bands The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director of Marching Bands and Music Education in developing and implementing a comprehensive marching band curriculum, and supporting the leadership and direction of our Marching Band program. The Assistant Director of Marching Bands will assist in planning and directing all Marching Band rehearsals and performances, helping develop and implement a comprehensive marching band curriculum, and supporting the selection of music and design of field shows. We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field, experience in marching band at the high school or collegiate level, strong musical skills and knowledge of current marching band techniques, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Director of Marching Bands and Music Education and other staff members.
