Leadership Structure: The Director of Music is overseen by the Pastor and works closely with the Jazz Music Coordinator and the music and worship ministry representatives on the Servant Leadership Board. · Oversees maintenance and care of the church’s music library, including the ordering of Adult Choir and Handbell Choir music, as needed * · Provides technical leadership around the use of the church’s musical instruments and electronic worship equipment; ensures all equipment is checked and musicians are prepared prior to the start of worship The Director of Music will meet with the Pastor quarterly to review goals, performance outcomes and fit. If it is determined that the individual is unable to fulfill their duties in accordance with their ministry description, they will be expected to engage in a process for ministry release.
