Position Overview: Bethany UMC is seeking a Director of Music, part-time with hybrid work available. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music, is experienced in managing and recruiting volunteer and paid musicians, enjoys working collaboratively, and is an organized self-starter. About Bethany UMC: Bethany United Methodist Church is a Reconciling Congregation located on the west side of Madison, WI. Pay: $19,000-$22,00 per year commensurate with experience Schedule: • Sunday mornings year round (8:30-11:30am) Midweek Evening Rehearsal September-June only (7-9pm) • Holy Week, Easter, Christmas Eve and special events • 6 Sundays per year paid time off
