Director of Music

The ideal candidate is a Spirit-filled person with proficiency in both organ and piano, a strong understanding of Lutheran liturgy, and the ability to work collaboratively with the pastor and volunteers. Key Responsibilities and Duties • Worship Planning & Leadership: • Collaborate with the Pastor and the Worship and Music Committee to select music (hymns, liturgy, anthems, etc.) • Select appropriate anthems and special music for the choir to perform during worship services, suitable for the choir's skill level. • Manage the music program budget and submit requests for supplies or new music to the appropriate committee or council. • Experience in conducting vocal ensembles/choirs and leading congregational singing.
