Director of Music

The Candidate shall provide DMA services at the chapel located on NAS JRB New Orleans. The DMA may use chapel equipment when providing DMA support; the Candidate will provide the following: • Musical direction for both Protestant and Roman Catholic worship services. • Accompaniment for the rendition of music required during worship services. • Coordinate and consult with the officiating chaplain or CRMP concerning the selection of all choral selections, choruses, hymns, and other music utilized in the worship service. • Piano accompaniment for Sunday Catholic Worship Services, each service 1-hour duration Qualifications • Shall be a musician with the requisite skills and experience acceptable to lead a variety of religious worship services.
