Director of Music

Overview Mary Magdalene is a joyful, ~200-member church community rooted in the independent Catholic tradition, and committed to inclusion of all (LGBTQIA+ folx, people of all gender identities and expressions, people of diverse spiritual backgrounds and beliefs). We seek a music director, serving approximately quarter time, to provide piano and vocal accompaniment to our 10AM Sunday morning Mass, with a focus on drawing out congregational singing and nurturing the spiritual life of those in the pews. • Collaborate with the pastor in planning appropriate music for liturgical seasons such as Advent, Lent, Holy Week, Christmas. • Provide piano and vocal accompaniment to funerals, weddings, and other special occasions as needed.
