Director of Music

Responsibilities: - Develop and oversee the music program in alignment with the organization's goals and vision - Select music repertoire for performances and rehearsals - Conduct rehearsals and performances effectively - Provide musical direction to musicians and vocalists - Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate music-related activities - Educate ensemble members on musical techniques, interpretation, and performance skills - Communicate effectively with musicians, staff, and stakeholders - Lead and inspire ensemble members through effective leadership skills - Mentor musicians to help them grow and develop their musical abilities Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Music or related field preferred - Proven experience as a Music Director or similar role - Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, and arrangement - Excellent communication skills - Demonstrated leadership abilities - Ability to mentor and develop musicians of varying skill levels Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
