Director of Music

The Music Ministry of Home Moravian Church seeks to bring people of all ages into a growing relationship with God by contributing to Christian worship through music that supports the message of the liturgy and encourages the musical participation of the congregation to build on faith through the Moravian practice of singing its theology from the heart. Job summary In conjunction with the Pastoral staff and Music Committee, plans and coordinates the entire music program, providing leadership and resources to the organist and other music ministry leaders active in the programs or Home Moravian Church. Participate in the planning of worship and other musical activities in the congregation. - Funeral Choir (May require direct involvement if a family requests special music.) - Children’s Choir
