At this juncture in which NUMC is considering the appropriate organization of its music program across its campuses, the Director of Music will be expected to contribute to the redesign of the music program. Essential Functions • Overall supervision and coordination of the NUMC Music Ministry staff on all campuses assuring quality, consistency, and congruence with progressive United Methodist theology in all programs. • Coordinates with Pastoral Staff to develop and integrate music with worship services. • Music leader for the 9am Metropolitan Memorial Campus and 11am Wesley Campus worship services, participating with worship team in selection of service music. • Coordinates the work of accompanists for all worship services, including special services like weddings and memorial services, assisting them in selection of service music.
