St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Parish in Cumming, Georgia, is conducting a national search for a Director of Music to build and lead a vibrant, sacred, and reverent music program in one of the fastest-growing Catholic communities in the North Atlanta area. The next Director of Music will have the opportunity to shape the music program of a flourishing parish for years to come, with meaningful pastoral support, room to build, and the freedom to develop choirs, ensembles, and with a desire to build a culture of musical excellence. The parish is seeking a leader with particular strength in choral direction and meaningful proficiency in one or more of the following: organ, piano, voice, or conducting. St. Brendan’s also has a strong and dynamic Spanish music ministry, and the next Director will play an important role in strengthening collaboration between English and Spanish music ministries. The parish is actively investing in the future of its music program, including plans for a new 3-manual digital organ in the main church.
