Director of Music / Accompanist

Job Description The DMA will work closely with the Command Chaplain and other chapel personnel to provide appropriate sacred music and maintain continuity of worship support. Responsibilities Qualifications Associate’s degree in Music or a related field from an accredited institution plus two years of specialized religious music experience, or qualifying specialized experience in lieu of the degreeAt least two years of experience with liturgical ministriesStrong piano/keyboard and vocal music skillsAbility to sight-read music proficientlyExperience directing choirs, musicians, and vocalistsAbility to support both Catholic and Protestant worship traditionsFluent in spoken and written EnglishAbility to pass required background and base-access screening
