NE Albuquerque, NM 87112 Terms: Experience: 1-2 Years (minimum) Education: High School/College Position: Full-time Employee Base Pay: To be determined based on experience Job Description The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM, within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, is seeking a full-time Director of Music and Organist. The Director is responsible for directing all aspects of the sacred music program, including planning and providing music for weekend Masses, Holy Days of Obligation, funerals, weddings, and other liturgical celebrations. He/she will serve as the recommended musician for weddings and funerals at St. Bernadette or oversee and consult with other musicians, working with families to select appropriate liturgical music. Responsibilities - Oversee, evaluate, and coordinate all sacred music, musicians, and choirs in collaboration with the pastor. - Participate as a member of the parish staff, attending meetings as schedule permits, and maintain good relationships with all ministers.
