Director of Music and Organist, PT – Bethany PresbyterianBethany Presbyterian Church, 3000 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616 Bethany Presbyterian Church is looking for a part-time (24 hours per week) director of music to plan and oversee the music program, direct and accompany the adult SATB repertory choir for 10 a.m. worship, as well as lead weekly choir rehearsals (1.5 – 2 hours). Responsibilities: Serve as organist for 10 a.m. worship service January 1 – December 31. Direct and accompany adult choir at 10 a.m. worship and warm up prior to service Sept. – May. Produce two Music Sundays (Fall and Spring) with hired orchestra accompanying extended choral work. Work with youth choir leader and head of staff to integrate youth performances into worship services several times per year.
