Covenant Christian, an environmentally conscious Green Chalice Congregation, and an LGBTQIA+ Open and Affirming Congregation, is looking for a dynamic and collaborative Music Director to provide music during worship, special holidays and events, and to direct an adult choir. Covenant has a history of encouraging creativity and enjoys an expansive approach to music. We like to try new things and would love to have our next Music Director be a part of moving Covenant forward into new ideas and possibilities. Covenant would anticipate someone or more than one individual (should the position be divided out) to provide musical accompaniment during worship on Sundays, to provide, or help to line up guest musicians for, special music, to direct an adult choir September - May, to collaborate with the Pastor and the Journey Up Team, and to present their own creativity and vision for worshipful music be it religious or secular.
