Director of Music Ministries

Overview

St. Paul United Methodist Church (Little Rock) is seeking a full-time Director of Music Ministries to lead a vibrant and growing worship community. The ideal candidate is a gifted musician, an inspiring director, and a collaborative leader who is passionate about Christ-centered worship.
Responsibilities
• Directing choirs, handbells, and ensembles
• Providing accompaniment for weekly worship and seasonal services
• Planning music for all services and special events
• Coordinating rehearsals and recruiting musicians
• Collaborating closely with the Pastor and Worship Team
• Participating in Music Camp/VBS
• Maintaining and growing the music library
Qualifications
• Proficiency in piano and/or organ
• Experience directing choirs and ensembles
• Ability to work collaboratively in a church setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Methodist worship traditions (preferred)
