Director of Music & Organist

Elm Park United Methodist Church of Scranton, Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Director of Music and part-time Organist, as a combined role, beginning October 1, 2025. The earlier service routinely has a soloist, and the later service has a soloist and volunteer choir; and we often have a musician accompany the organ on a variety of instruments. The church is also blessed to have a handbell and chimes choir. The Director of Music will report to the Pastor and the Staff-Parish Relations Committee. Primary duties are to play the organ during the 8:30am and 10:00am Sunday worship services, and to play during choir rehearsals presently scheduled on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.
