Director of Music (Part-time)

The Director of Music collaborates with the Pastor, volunteer music leaders, and the church’s governing board (the Session) to implement a comprehensive church music program. We seek an individual to lead the music program with strong keyboard ability, a willingness to connect traditional and contemporary sacred music to the liturgy of our welcoming and open worship service, and a flexible, positive attitude. The choir currently rehearses September to June on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m., but as the music program continues to grow, the Director of Music should be open to additional rehearsal with the choir or other musicians as needed. ● Serve as a professional resource for the Worship Committee of the Session and Pastor. ● Our vocal choir has approximately 12 members and sings twice per month in the service.
