CHOIR DIRECTOR AND ORGANIST POSITION
All Souls Episcopal Church is seeking an experienced church musician to lead the parish’s semi-professional choir and play the organ for services. The choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:00am and sings for the 11:00am service. There is no weeknight commitment. The Psalm is sung to Anglican chant by the choir. The ideal candidate will have a warm and engaging presence. They will create and maintain a supportive rehearsal environment in which volunteer singers are challenged to grow vocally and artistically, so that they feel well-prepared for services. Hymns will be played confidently with energy that uplifts the congregational worship experience. Familiarity with Episcopal liturgy is helpful but not required.
