Join Our Team We are seeking a professional who can work independently as well as collaboratively, contributing to a team managing our FPT Department. Work with team members to ensure projects are on target, anticipating and working through challenges in utilizing the appropriate processes to facilitate collaboration and transparency Create clarity for the team and stakeholders on project deadlines and status; proactively communicating and overcoming obstacles Ensure that all areas of projects are on target including product development, sourcing, packaging, marketing, etc. Provide project directives using judgment and problem-solving skills Establish priorities and allocate resources to reach goals Human Resources Manage and/or develop plans for staffing and/or contractors: Oversee time and labor for members of the team using Dayforce Collaborate with supervisor to ensure alignment of strategic goals for each team member Build a rapport, mentor and motivate team members on an ongoing basis, facilitating training and development while recognizing accomplishments and communicating performance expectations Cost management and profitability Manage costs associated with the individual projects and cumulatively within the department Focus the team on priority projects, reviewing ROI and working with our reporting team to develop data and metrics Grow the company by strategically new and existing developing products that provide incremental profits over previous years Skills: Excellent leadership abilities Ability to develop strong relationships throughout the team and organization Empower and hold team members accountable Project management skills Highly organized with accurate memory of project details and important information Structured, systematic and process-oriented approach Strong abilities to solve unique and complex challenges Problem solving skills, good judgment, quickly decisive, able to delegate Product development expertise Develop and managing product development timelines Negotiation skills and experience sourcing internationally Understanding of full scope of product development cycle from concept to marketing of first production Requirements: 5 or more years’ experience in a similar role managing teams Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred The Music People encourages a casual and friendly office environment.
