Director of Sacred Music

The Director of Sacred Music plays a pivotal role in the Divine Mercy Parish, serving three churches in Madison, Verona, and Paoli, Wisconsin. This is a full-time position with benefits. Primary responsibilities include serving as principal organist and choir director at the Madison church, accompanying school Masses weekly during term, and working with older students on liturgical music. The Director prepares an annual budget for music, maintains the music libraries at each church, and ensures that all churches have the St. Michael Hymnal. Music is accompanied by keyboard, and antiphons are used in addition to hymns.
