The Director of Orchestra Personnel is responsible for the effective and efficient management and coordination of all personnel activities for The Philadelphia Orchestra musicians. This position serves as a liaison with conductors, musicians, external partners and Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts (POEA) administration regarding implementation of personnel policies. • Manage the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement as they relate to orchestra personnel management, personnel and benefit policies, and individual musician contracts. • Work closely with the Orchestra Music Library personnel to ensure smooth operations and service for the musicians of the Orchestra. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including strong, advanced Excel skills.
