Distribution Specialist - GM Selector

(Some benefits listed are for full-time team members only) • An organization that has distributed to and successfully supported grocery retailers in cities across the Intermountain West for more than 80 years. • A business that partners with multiple local organizations to fundraise, donate to and sponsor charitable activities and events. • A Distribution Specialist - GM Selector accurately select orders for retailers in a timely manner: • Travels by foot up and down selection aisles and picks various sizes and quantities from opened cases • Prepares items for shipment by grouping items, putting rubber bands on items, and stacking them into boxes for safe shipment • Identifies slot locations and matches item numbers to numbers on pick list • Marks products off pick lists • Tapes completed boxes and lift them onto conveyor system • Interacts with computerized "Vocolect" selection system • Checks product quality • Handles damaged product • Cleans work stations as needed • Uses computer system to log orders and check production averages • Performs stocking functions as needed • A Distribution Specialist - GM Selector consistently focuses on any safety needs of the department and facility • Other duties as assigned
